The Position

Credit Data Analyst

Job Summary

In 2019, we established our first Shared Service Center (SSC) in Greece, with the goal of streamlining and optimizing financial operations for our entities across Europe. As part of our ongoing growth, Imerys is redesigning its Credit Management structure, focusing on harmonizing and standardizing processes, while adapting credit policies across Europe. We are committed to enhancing our cash flow strategies, analyzing payment patterns, and identifying risks through data-driven insights. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced and data-savvy Credit Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Management team.

This role is pivotal in enhancing our credit risk strategies by applying advanced data analysis techniques to assess, monitor and optimize credit exposures across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine traditional credit management understanding with expert-level data analytics to drive smarter, faster and more predictive credit decisions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in -depth credit assessments on new and existing clients using both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Design and deploy data-driven credit models to evaluate risk and guide credit decisions

  • Analyze historical trends, financial ratios, macroeconomic indicators and behavioral data to develop predictive insights

  • Collaborate with BI teams and data engineers to automate credit scoring processes and enhance data accessibility

  • Interpret large datasets to identify early warning signals, concentration risks and sectoral exposure patterns

  • Develop and maintain credit limit calculation files, scorecards to visualize risk metrics for internal stakeholders

  • Support monthly credit reporting presentations to top management

  • Report KPIS on a regular basis and work on action plan to improve the metrics

  • Mentor junior analysts in data literacy and analytical best practices

Qualifications:

  • Finance/Economics/Statistics/Data Science 

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in analysis (credit is preferred)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel,SQL and data visualization tools (such as Power BI)

  • Experience with SAP

  • Fluent in English

  • Excellent presentation, analytical skills

  • Previous experience in Multinational Company is advantageous

  • Self-Motivation & Resilience

  • Willingness to learn and/or experience with new systems & tools
