How You Make a Difference

As a Senior AI Innovator, you will play a key role in shaping and executing Samsung’s AI strategy. With a strong background in data and hands-on AI experience, you not only design scalable solutions—you also implement them. You will collaborate closely with ICT, operations, and leadership to identify high-impact use cases, develop local AI tools (e.g., LLMs, OCR, NLP), and drive adoption across the business. You combine stakeholder insight, technical capability, and a results-driven mindset to create AI solutions that are both innovative and practical.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a forward-looking AI strategy that aligns with business goals and operational needs. For the whole organization as well as division specific
• Develop and deploy local, on-premise AI solutions, including local LLMs, NLP pipelines, OCR tools, and intelligent decision agents.
• Build automation workflows in collaboration with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate).
• Identify automation opportunities by working closely with ICT, business units, and operational teams.
• Monitor and improve performance of AI systems while ensuring data privacy and security compliance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Stay on top of the latest open-source trends and incorporate applicable tools into Samsung’s tech stack.

Skills and Qualifications

What Are Your Assets

As our new Senior AI Innovator, you combine analytical thinking, communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership. You’re hands-on with technology, yet capable of translating technical solutions into business value. You thrive on delivering solutions from concept to deployment.

We also request:

• 8+ years of experience in data-related roles, with at least 4 years focused on applied AI.
• Experience with on-premise AI development (e.g., local LLMs, model deployment, open-source frameworks).
• Proficiency in Python and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with RPA platforms and workflow automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive, delivery-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English (required); Dutch is a plus.
