Join us as a Report Servicing Team Lead

The Data and Reporting team is responsible for executing on principles set forth by the Enterprise Data Governance Oversight Committee and delivering accurate and insightful reporting to internal and external clients in a timely manner. The team also works in close coordination with CP Systems and CP Change Management to design and deliver new solutions that support or expand the firm’s product offering.  Functions include, but are not limited to, data stewardship, validation of monthly CRS Statements, creation of Qlik dashboards and the development and preparation of custom reporting.

The Data and Reporting Team Lead is responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance and delivery of client reporting and internal analytics.  The incumbent will also be responsible for the integrity of data created and consumed by Capital Partners.  This role will work closely with the broader CP Ops and Amin organization, Relationship Management, Investor Services, Portfolio Management, Legal and Compliance. 

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

Client Reporting             

  • Escalation contact for Institutional Client Group, MFO RM, Portfolio Management, and Senior leadership for internal and external client reporting requests

  • Develop an expertise in CP strategies to effectively develop and deliver product-level content in client reporting; this includes but may not be limited to, tailoring portfolio positioning, understanding product-specific data nuances, answering ad-hoc questions related to the product, etc.

  • Understand the IM strategies, the general reporting needs of our clients invested in the strategies, and the guidelines which govern our activities related to client reporting

  • Peer reviewing client deliverables completed by the team as needed to ensure accuracy, data reasonability, etc.

  • Take the lead on production of customized  reporting, including writing of business requirements for new or existing  reporting needs and work with technology to build, test and implement the reporting solutions

  • Primary day-to-day contact responsible for ensuring timely/accurate delivery of information/data requests and other adhoc requests

  • Oversee the review and adjustments to standard monthly reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely manner

  • Assist with ensuring that reports presented to clients (periodic meetings or ad hoc requests) reflect information that is both complete and of the highest quality, and are produced within the required timelines

  • Perform daily/ monthly data quality checks, and escalate unexplained discrepancies to CP systems and management

People Leadership         

  • Work collaboratively with other team leads to set high standards

  • Foster a collaborative and team orientated approach to Client Services across operational teams

  • Manage and direct the activities of the team

  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, specifically within Financial Services industry

  • Strong understanding of client reporting needs

  • Strong relationship and people management skills; Ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders

  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management in multiple LOBs

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills
