Job Description
The Data Architect provides technical expertise to Cielo’s analytics solutions. They will bring solid expertise in emerging technologies such as Birst, Tableau or other analytics tools in a cloud environment. They will be engineering the technical design and development of multi-purpose data applications built in Birst, focusing on ETL layer, but not creating the reports or dashboards. As a hand-on architect, the Data Architect will help design and build global analytics solutions to drive the next generation of recruiting. They will interface with multiple levels of administrative support staff and Cielo client teams.
Work Location: USA
Work Arrangement: Remote
Work Schedule: Flexible, depending on the need, but mostly NA timezone
Specific requirements: Data Profiling, Modeling and Transformation is a must
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, implement and document technical engineering solutions to assist business partners self-service their analytic needs.
- Work with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of analytical systems, and determine priority of needs.
- Analyze, define, design and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment.
- Work under broad direction and be fully accountable for own technical work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities. Receive assignments in the form of objectives. Establish own milestones and team objectives. Work is often self-initiated.
- Advise on the available standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Science and make correct choices from alternatives.
- Champion technology internally across clients, fostering knowledge and optimization of technology to raise the bar throughout the organization, with entrepreneurial spirting to build new solutions and drive organizational change.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
-More than two years of results-oriented experience in cloud-based analytics platforms.
- At least two years of experience with SQL on any major RDBMS.
- At least two years of experience developing ETL solutions working with diverse data sources.
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Deep technical expertise with cloud-based analytics platforms. - Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Internet and other related software.
The anticipated starting salary range for individuals in this position is $90,000 - $130,000, depending on experience, geography, and industry knowledge.
