**Key Requirements:**

1. **Data Modeling:** Expertise in designing and implementing robust data models to support business requirements and analytics.

2. **Azure:** Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Azure for data modeling, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other relevant services.

3. **Architectural Skills:** Strong understanding of data architecture principles and the ability to contribute to the development of scalable and efficient data solutions.

4. **Data Analytics:** Familiarity with data analytics processes and the ability to work closely with data analysts to translate business needs into effective data models.

5. **Power BI:** Experience in creating data models to support Power BI visualizations and reporting.

6. **Data Transformation:** Knowledge of data transformation techniques to ensure the quality and usability of data within the modeled structures.

7. **Banking Experience:** Previous experience in the banking sector is a must, showcasing an understanding of financial data, security, and compliance requirements.

8. **Attitude:** Proactive and assertive approach to driving data modeling initiatives, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models.

- Utilize Azure services, including Data Factory and Databricks, to implement and optimize data models.

- Work closely with data analysts to ensure that data models support the required analytics processes.

- Design and implement data models that align with organizational goals and scalability requirements.

- Collaborate with architects to contribute to the overall data architecture strategy.

- Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements in the banking domain.

- Lead and mentor junior data modeling team members.

- Provide technical guidance and support for the implementation of data models in various projects.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in data modeling with a focus on Azure technologies.

- Previous experience in the banking sector is essential.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
