Role Overview,
We're looking for a Sales BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and support the Growth department as a strategic partner.
You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to deeply understand their processes, challenges, and strategic priorities. You will be responsible for translating their needs into meaningful analytical questions, and ensuring that our data models and assets evolve accordingly. A major part of your contribution will be to coach and support Sales team members in interpreting and leveraging data effectively, transforming raw information into actionable insight and business value.
This role requires you to collaborate cross-functionally, identifying and addressing analytical challenges that highlight the interconnections between the Growth Department and other teams such as Product, Finance, and Customer Success. You’ll help ensure that the right data is not only available and reliable, but also well understood and consistently applied across business functions. As such, you’ll play a key role in promoting data literacy and empowering stakeholders to become confident users of self-service analytics tools.
Main responsibilities,
The Sales BI Analyst will collaborate closely with a range of business stakeholders, particularly from the Sales team, to understand their needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver impactful insights that support data-driven decision-making. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
As a Business Partner, the BI Analyst is expected to carry out the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:
Analyse and thoroughly understand our current processes and Sales & Marketing funnels.
Help integrating the current and future business logics into the analytical models.
Define new KPIs and metrics oriented to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of our Sales processes.
Define metrics and analysis oriented towards.
Maintain, expand and adapt our analytical business logics to evolve in tandem with the company's growth.
Take requirements from business stakeholders.
Expand and maintain our Glossary.
Help defining Business definitions and processes.
Perform data sanity checks (from the business logic perspective) to validate new data structures.
Perform Ad-hoc analysis.
Main requirements,
We're looking for someone with strong business acumen and a solid track record of working closely with diverse stakeholders. Ideally, you’ll bring a deep understanding of sales processes, especially within SaaS and/or B2B environments. If you’ve already navigated those worlds, even better!
3+ years previous experience as BI Analyst/Business Analyst or similar.
You’ve worked closely with stakeholders before, ideally from the sales team, and know how to turn their needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Solid understanding of Sales Analytics
Previous experience working in a SaaS and/or B2B company
You're a detail-oriented professional with a sharp eye for quality, a willingness to learn technical concepts, and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Nice to have:
Experience working with Looker or other BI reporting tools.
Knowledge of SQL, Python or other programming languages.
Passionate about working with and analysing data.
Previous experience working with dbt.
