Job duties:

  • Research on AI/ML models for Eluvio Content Fabric, focusing on video content understanding.
  • Developing AI/ML models for extracting information from video/audio content.
  • Leads development of advanced models and oversees integration into production environments (end-to-end deployment).
  • Optimizes models for performance and ensures seamless integration with blockchain-verified metadata systems.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to interns and junior engineers.
  • Takes a leadership role in team discussions, setting technical direction, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Regularly engages with clients, attends business meetings, and drives customer-focused strategy.
  • Active participation in business strategy discussions and decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in machine learning engineering or data science, with a specialization in video and media data analysis.
  1. Experience in deployment of machine learning models in production environments, particularly in media-focused applications.
  2. Container management tools, including Podman, for efficient deployment and orchestration of applications in containerized environments.
  3. API design and implementation for model inference services, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient integration of machine learning models into production systems.
  4. Python, R, JavaScript, and Bash.
  5. Experience with system programming languages including C++, Go, and Rust.
  6. Machine learning and deep learning algorithms (e.g., CNNs, Transformer models, GANs, clustering, sequence models) and frameworks/libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  7. CockroachDB and Firebase DB, with experience in their application for managing and processing large-scale media datasets.
  8. Collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams, managing priorities, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Distributed systems, including their architecture, operational challenges, and performance optimization strategies.
  10. Designing, developing, and deploying production-grade software and machine learning models, specifically within the media domain.
