Senior Data Scientist

Corteva Agriscience LLC seeks a full-time Senior Data Scientist based in Indianapolis, IN. This position provides decision science expertise to Sales and Marketing in the form of insights, predictions and prescriptions. Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field & 1 year related exp. Must also have 6 months of exp with the following: (1) enhance current predictive models using machine learning methods such as Logistic Group Lasso, Elastic Network Regression, AIC Stepwise Regression, Random Forest, Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, Gradient Boosting Tree, and Partial Least Square Regression; (2) develop new predictive and prescriptive techniques for demand forecasts, churn risk, uplift opportunities, and other complex marketing data science problems; (3) develop and implement business facing dashboards (Power BI); (4) leverage chemical engineering principles to integrate domain-specific knowledge in the development of machine learning forecasting models based on environmental, chemical, and agronomic variables; and (5) utilize the following tools/technologies: Databricks, GIT, PySpark, TensorFlow, PowerBi and other statistical and machine learning tools for data analysis and modeling. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Salary: $74,090 to $156,000/year.
