About the role 🚀

At Driveco, data is at the core of our decision-making and operational excellence.

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer at the crossroads of data modeling and analysis.
In this hybrid role, you’ll design data pipelines and models, while also building clear, impactful dashboards to support business & product performance.

Location: Paris HQ
Reporting to: Sofiane, our CTO
Job languages: French and English

Your first mission:
Set up our analytics environment, ensure clean and reliable data, then deliver key dashboards and insights to help scale electric mobility in Europe.

Your main responsibilities

1. Architecture & Analytics Engineering

  • Build the data platform, design and maintain automated ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from various sources (SAP, Salesforce, Production, EV charging monitoring systems, Data files, external/internal APIs, etc.).
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, consistency, and lineage across the organization.
  • Maintain and enhance master data management processes and contribute to the development of our data governance framework.

2. Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design and maintain scalable dashboards (Power BI or equivalent) to support operational, financial, commercial and product teams, ensuring clarity, performance, and usability.
  • Translate business needs into actionable insights and strategic analyses (station performance, profitability, feature performance…) to support data-driven decision-making.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operational, commercial, and technical teams to identify their data and reporting needs.
  • Provide support and training to business users to maximize the adoption and impact of BI tools.

4. Technology Watch & Innovation

  • Identify new solutions and tools to enhance data analysis and visualization capabilities.
  • Continuously propose improvements to systems and processes related to data management.

Preferred Experience

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in BI engineering and data analysis roles.
  • Previous experience in industrial, energy, or tech environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in BI tools: Power BI preferred or equivalent.
  • Experience with orchestrators and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT).
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Power Query, VBA) and SQL.
  • Experience in integrating and utilizing APIs to connect various data systems.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modeling.

Analytical Skills

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize large volumes of data to extract actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on performance improvement.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong teaching ability to train non-technical users on dashboard usage.

Other Skills

  • Knowledge of the EV charging ecosystem or IoT infrastructures (a plus).
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
