Data Visualization Specialist

We currently have a vacancy for an Data Visualization Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks

• Assessing customer requirements, determining technical feasibility and documenting results;
• Drafting technical specifications based on functional requirements;
• Creating and editing visual content including maps, charts, and graphs;
• Building interactive and complex data visualizations and analysis tools (e.g., dashboards);
• Developing highly complicated reports (e.g., drill through, drill down, dynamic parameters, sub-reports) and data models (e.g., cubes/tabular models);
• Ensuring in-depth unit, application and integration testing;
• Assisting in the creation and enhancement of design and development standards;
• Providing user and technical application documentation.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling, data visualization and BI report development;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI;
• Extensive experience with SQL;
• Extensive experience in visualization, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, color, interaction design and fluency with BI tools;
• Extensive experience in data preparation, data analysis, data visualization, programming, database administration, and reporting;
• Experience with the complete systems development lifecycle process;
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps;
• Experience with Agile (Scrum);
• Excellent command of the English language.
