The project and your role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA Analyst with expertise in Azure data services and SQL to join our data engineering team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of data pipelines, data transformations, and analytics solutions built on the Azure platform for our client in the Real Estate Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for data solutions built on Azure (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, SQL).
- Validate data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformations for accuracy, completeness, and performance.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate data across multiple sources and ensure data consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform root cause analysis of data issues and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Automate data validation and testing processes using tools and scripting.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Your skills:
- Must-have expertise in SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Must-have hands-on experience with Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Server.
- 3+ years of experience in QA or data testing roles.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for data testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
