Overview

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Solutions Architect who brings both technical excellence and strong product vision. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of our payment and related ecommerce solutions across the faith and education verticals. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, product strategy understanding, and the ability to navigate emerging AI-assisted development methodologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Design scalable, resilient architectures vertically integrated payment, web, and mobile platform solutions
• Partner with Product Management to align technical architecture with product vision and market strategy
• Lead technical decision-making around frameworks, tools, and technologies
• Contribute to product roadmap discussions with technical feasibility insights and innovative opportunities
• Implement AI-assisted development patterns like MCP and agentic coding for cross application capability and data access.
• Translate market needs into technical requirements and architectural guidance, including interacting with integration partners and key clients directly
• Create detailed technical specifications and solution designs
• Evaluate emerging AI development tools against product needs and business objectives
• Guide development teams in implementing architectural designs
• Present architectural decisions in business terms to executive leadership
• Balance technical debt considerations with market timing and competitive pressures
• Ensure solutions adhere to security and compliance requirements
• Mentor junior developers on solution architecture best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture 
• Familiarity with LLMs and understanding their application in development workflows
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with modern frontend and backend development frameworks
• Understanding of API design and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience with database design (SQL and NoSQL)
• Product Strategy Alignment: Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives and market opportunities into technical solutions
• Business Case Development: Experience contributing to or developing business cases for technical investment decisions
• Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the FinTech / payments space
• Experience with AI Agent Orchestration and Multi-Agent Cooperation Protocol (MCP) frameworks
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Ability to evaluate competitive offerings and identify technical differentiation opportunities
• Customer Journey Mapping: Understanding how to align solution architecture with customer experience goals
• Industry Trend Analysis: Demonstrated ability to identify emerging market trends and their technical implications
• Revenue Model Understanding: Knowledge of how solution architecture impacts SaaS pricing models, costs, and margins
• User-Centered Design Thinking: Experience applying design thinking methodologies to solution architecture
• Experience with AI-assisted code generation and review processes
• Background in DevOps AI integration and development workflow optimization
