What you'll do

• You will apply your expertise in physical production environments to optimise processes, drawing on your knowledge of mechanics and physics
• Collaborating with production line workers establishes trust and enables an understanding of their needs, allowing for impactful improvements
• A key part of your role will be extracting and preprocessing data from various sources to ensure it is ready for meaningful analysis
• Large datasets are analysed to reveal patterns, verify data and devise innovative solutions to complex problems
• With the help of AI tools, you will design and refine machine learning algorithms, create predictive models and optimize classifiers

Who you are

• You possess a PhD in Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or have equivalent proven achievements in these areas
• A well-rounded and strategic mindset, demonstrated by your strong ability to understand detailed processes while maintaining focus on the bigger picture
• As an active problem solver, you are eager to collaborate directly with the shop floor to implement practical solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Rust, or the ability to quickly learn them, would be a valuable addition to your skillset
• Your talent for presenting results clearly, proposing actionable strategies and collaborating effectively with business and IT teams sets you apart
