Our team is dedicated to developing advanced solutions that leverage GenAI to provide tailored process agents. What you'll do...

About the Role: 

As the Director of Product Management for the Generative AI Execution Team, you will lead in the delivery of our Finance Generative AI strategy and defined solutions. You will be responsible for providing the leadership and direction delivering new products and enhancements to existing products that bringing our product vision, strategy, and roadmap to life. Your expertise in Generative AI technology and strong product management leadership will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of these innovative financial products. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manages and monitors the product delivery plans for our Finance Generative AI technology solutions.
  • Leads the product management team and manages related tasks coordinating with the engineering team management, and other cross-functional leaders, ensuring that a product or initiative under development is delivered on time, within budget, and with quality.
  • Ensures the creation and quality of product specifications for the of Generative AI components by reviewing and approving artifacts such as systems flows, product requirement documents and logical data models.
  • Guides and monitors team execution of the product launch and post-launch activities
  • Reviews drafting and release of training materials to support users with new products and features.
  • Supports product development and deployment by engaging with Engineering management and participation in cross-functional leadership efforts, questions and make scope trade off decisions.
  • Analyzes data and customer feedback to make and influence product decisions that continuously improve existing solutions
  • Lead the creation of a high performing team ready to build the best possible Generative AI solutions for our Finance teams.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding and experience in Generative AI technology, including knowledge of the landscape and what’s on the horizon.
  • Proven track record in product management leadership roles, with experience in building teams and launching successful AI-driven financial products 
  • Experience with product roadmap development techniques; roadmap presentation; roadmap features and artifacts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive product decisions in the finance domain.
  • Experience with design thinking, journey mapping, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in the finance field.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities for innovation using Generative AI technology in finance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI technology and a keen interest in applying it to real-world finance problems.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI tools such as Chat GPT, Gemini, Copilot Studio and PowerAutomate

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred 
  • 7-9 years of experience in product management, AI technology, or related fields, with a focus on financial data.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, technology applicability and its progression 
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
