VML Luxembourg

VML Luxembourg is one of the leading Amazon consulting agencies in Europe. Offering 360° services for Amazon, we have a diverse range of products and services in various sectors to ensure long-term sales growth, ranging from creating multilingual content and listings to all aspects of advertising, including sales promotion, PPC and programmatic campaigns. We are part of WPP, the world’s largest digital media agency, and manage WPP’s European Center of Excellence for Amazon (ACE) dedicated to maximising performance, driving sales and building brands on the Amazon platform.

The opportunity:

As we scale our digital shelf and content optimisation services across markets, we are enhancing our capabilities around insight-led content performance reporting. Content Intelligence Engineer role is designed for someone who can combine technical dashboard development with analytical thinking to surface the insights that matter — from product page quality to compliance and channel performance.

You’ll play a key role in transforming how we measure and communicate content effectiveness across Amazon and other retail platforms, while also helping to automate and streamline reporting processes to support growth at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards that support digital shelf visibility and content performance
  • Transform raw product and retail data into actionable insights for content and commercial teams
  • Create automated reports to support internal teams and external client delivery
  • Deliver insight frameworks that link content quality to KPIs such as discoverability, conversion, and compliance
  • Support statutory/legal reporting needs with precision and traceability
  • Collaborate across analytics, content, and programme teams to evolve our measurement stack
  • Contribute to long-term evolution towards intelligent, LLM-ready reporting systems

What we want from you:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Solid experience in BI engineering, reporting or analytics roles
  • Proven skills in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Amazon QuickSight
  • Ability to work with product data and link insights to digital shelf outcomes
  • Comfortable balancing recurring dashboard delivery with strategic project input
  • Strong communicator who can bridge technical insight and business relevance
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus

If you know some of this, even better:

  • Familiarity with retail media metrics or eCommerce KPIs
  • Experience working with PDP (product detail page) content or content compliance frameworks
  • Exposure to LLMs, agentic systems or interest in AI-enhanced reporting
  • Understanding of content management workflows and taxonomy/tagging
  • Experience integrating insight pipelines into client-facing deliverables

What we can offer you:

Alongside the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands around the world, we’ll also prioritise your career development and help you grow your skills. We’ll empower you to make a difference, allow you to be yourself, and respect who you are.
