Hiring Manager: Chief Product Officer

Role Purpose
- Why this role matters: As our lead for Product Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in powering Beyond ONE’s shift toward a data-first culture. Your work will transform gut-feel decisions into data-backed strategies, giving every team—from Product to Leadership—a window into true user behavior and product performance. You’ll architect the product analytics foundation we build on, ensuring our products scale smarter, faster, and with greater impact.
- What success looks like: In your first year, you’ll lead the diagnosis of our current digital analytics landscape, assist the Data & Analytics team with the build-out of a modern and scalable data stack, and launch self-service product analytics capabilities. You will drive holistic product insights, partner closely with the CPO to steer product strategy with evidence, and hire the product analytics team of the future.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a hands-on analytics leader, building the foundation as an individual contributor—writing SQL, creating dashboards, and delivering deep product insights with minimal support.
● Partner with Data Engineering to design scalable infrastructure and clean pipelines, ensuring reliable, accessible data across the organization.
● Collaborate directly with the Chief Product Officer, Product Managers, Data Analytics, and Engineers to define success metrics, analyze user behavior, and assess product performance.
● Run A/B tests, experiments, and impact analyses to guide data-driven product decisions.
● Develop self-service analytics tools and dashboards that empower non-technical teams with actionable insights.
● Co-own and evolve the analytics strategy with the Data Analytics team—prioritizing workstreams, aligning on KPIs, and creating frameworks for future scaling.
● Lay the groundwork for a future team by shaping the product analytics roadmap, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and influencing data culture from day one.
Qualifications & Attributes
We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
○ 8+ years of experience in analytics roles, including at least 3 years in senior or lead-level positions.
○ Demonstrated success in building analytics functions from the ground up—ideally in high-growth startup environments.
○ Proven experience across the full analytics stack:
– Business Intelligence (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
– Product Analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar platforms)
○ Hands-on expertise with SQL (advanced) and Python or R for analysis.
○ Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as, databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift. - Technical Skills:
○ Strong grasp of data modeling, schema design
○ Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and working with experimentation frameworks.
○ Familiar with analytics engineering best practices such as version control and CI/CD for data.
○ Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and secure data handling. - Unique Attributes:
○ Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data insights to real business outcomes and guide product strategy.
○ Excellent communication skills—distills complex data stories into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
○ Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from scratch.
○ Creative problem-solver who is energized by messy data and challenging questions.
○ Collaborative influencer who partners cross-functionally and is ready to lead and scale a high-performing team over time. - Nice-to-haves:
○ –Data Engineering (ETL/ELT pipelines, data architecture)
○ Experience in Telco or FinTech industries.
○ Exposure to machine learning workflows and predictive analytics.
○ Past experience reporting directly to C-level executives.
