As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to the Research and Development team by doing data driven research on a weekly basis, actively participate and host live shows on the tastylive network, as well as help to build and analyze backend systems and programs to enhance research capabilities. You will be responsible for creating and contributing research insights to the Luckbox magazine publication, leading and managing research related projects, as well as assisting customers with a wide range of research and live show related issues. 

tastylive is a revolutionary financial network for active retail options traders, offering free trading segments, world-class technology to retail traders and products across multiple platforms with live streaming 7 days a week. With thousands of original segments and over 20 on-air traders, we provide market navigation, actionable trade ideas, and entertainment.  

What you’ll do:  

• Create 2-3 data-driven research pieces, segments, and trade ideas each week 
• Actively participate in and host live shows  
• Assist customers and viewers via email and chat with research content and trade-related inquiries or historical data 
• Develop, maintain, and improve backend systems, code related scripts, and programs to enhance research capabilities 
• Utilize Python and its libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), along with machine learning models, to conduct thorough data analysis, develop predictive models, and optimize research efficiency 
• Lead and manage research-related projects to drive innovation and efficiency 
• Contribute data research insights to Luckbox magazine 
• Provide market trend updates and technological recommendations to on-air personalities 

Who you are:  

• Educational background in finance and IT related fields, offering a fusion of analytical and technological expertise (Masters degree is a bonus) 
• Proficient in Python and its libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), as well as machine learning algorithms, for robust data analysis and visualization 
• Skilled in market analysis, data analysis, root cause analysis, and AI/ML applications within finance, and retail option domains or business 
• Capable of creating insightful ideas, segments, content and visualizations using Python tools and Tableau to convey complex data effectively 
• Ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences, from novice to experienced option traders, through live shows, content and presentations 
• Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and driving innovation in technology 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders 
• Ability to address customer issues with clarity and precision via email and chat support, providing detailed guidance as needed 

Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, ESTEEM (Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship Excellence), or a closely related field. 
• Must hold a post graduate certification in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning. Must hold knowledge of Python and its libraries (Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib) and machine learning algorithms for robust data analysis and visualization, market analysis, root cause analysis, and artificial intelligence / machine learning applications within finance and retail option domains. 

Salary: $122,762.00 per year 
The actual salary offered will be based on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications
