Job Description:

  • Job Overview:

    The Data Analytics Coordinator will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, analytical acumen, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data pipelines, cleaning and preparing datasets, developing dashboards, and automating reporting processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Data Engineering & Integration

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, including APIs, Excel, CSVs, SQL databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Integrate disparate data systems into a unified data model for cross-functional analytics.
  • Automate data refresh and ingestion processes using Power Automate and scheduled SQL jobs.
  • Ensure data lineage, version control, and traceability across the full lifecycle.
  • 2. Data Cleaning, Preparation & Modeling
  • Perform data cleansing, anomaly detection, and validation to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Standardize and enrich datasets using Power Query (M language), SQL scripts, and R scripts.
  • Develop relational and star-schema data models to support analytics across business domains.
  • Maintain and document metadata, calculated fields, and transformation logic.
  • Design and deploy process automation solutions using Power Automate (e.g., report distribution, data validation workflows, alerting).
  • Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate for advanced interactivity and data updates.
  • Build low-code applications with Power Apps to collect, manage, or visualize operational data.
  • Monitor and maintain automation reliability, version updates, and error logs.
  • 3. Business Intelligence & Visualization

  • Build and maintain advanced dashboards, paginated reports, and KPIs using Power BI.
  • Create DAX measures and custom visuals to deliver performance insights and trend analysis.
  • Design semantic models and shared datasets to support enterprise-wide reporting consistency.
  • Collaborate with end-users to translate analytical needs into interactive visualizations.
  • 4. Data Governance, Security & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security policies, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation of data models, reports, and automation processes.
  • Contribute to enterprise data standards, definitions, and best practices for analytics.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Power BI: Advanced dashboarding, data modeling, DAX, Power Query
  • Power Automate: Workflow automation, connectors, approval flows
  • Power Apps: Canvas and model-driven app development
  • SQL: Complex querying, stored procedures, views, performance tuning
  • R Programming: Data wrangling, statistical modeling, visualizations
  • Big Data Tools: Experience with large datasets and scalable data solutions
  • Preferred Experience

  • Proficient in data preparation and transformation using Excel, Power BI, and mapping logic to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards for operational and strategic reporting with real-time performance metrics.
  • Hands-on expertise in workflow automation using Power Automate, with a demonstrated ability to reduce manual tasks and optimize data-driven processes.
  • Exposure to data governance practices, including the application of row-level security (RLS), user access controls, and audit-compliant documentation standards.
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Procore, SharePoint, or similar systems to extract, integrate, and visualize operational data within enterprise analytics workflows.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Data Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Data Analytics. Certification will be a plus.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and ensure high-quality data deliverables.
