About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps to build robust test frameworks and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test frameworks and tools.

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for test automation.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper test coverage and integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).

Identify, document, and track bugs using tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Contribute to performance and load testing efforts.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Advocate for best testing practices and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in software testing and development.

Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.

Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA best practices, and SDLC.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with BDD/TDD methodologies and tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.).

Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 to $100,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
