The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist in developing multimodal algorithms that can detect early signs of depression from speech and text information.

• To assist in designing, developing, and acquiring voice and text corpus for early depression detection with at least 100 individual subjects.

• To collaborate with other project team members to develop baseline systems and improve the system’s accuracy from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/engineering or related fields.

• Relevant knowledge and strong background in text processing and speech technologies, especially in depression detection and healthcare domain.

• Experience in building and evaluating algorithms in the speech and language technology field.

• Strong in the following programming languages and frameworks: Python, Pytorch, Keras.

• Strong publication record.

• Good communication and writing skills

• Excellent teamwork and experience with supervising junior members or students.
