Description

Join our IT Department as an Internal AI Developer!

We are Cintra. Known for our award-winning software that delivers payroll solutions to over 1000 clients. This role blends hands-on technical implementation with internal education and enablement. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to help them understand, adopt, and benefit from AI in their daily workflows, making a tangible impact on how we operate. You won’t just build solutions, you’ll lead change.

Our modern offices are located in Hoults Yard, nestled on the outskirts of the vibrant Ouseburn Valley. This area boasts a thriving creative community, rich local heritage, and a lively social scene.

The Opportunity

As our Internal AI Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and deploying AI-powered tools that streamline internal operations, automate repetitive tasks, and drive efficiency across departments. You’ll take ownership of how we use Large Language Models (LLMs), including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and embedding-based search, to solve real-world business challenges.

About You

You’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives on turning complex AI concepts into real-world tools that people actually want to use. You're confident building LLM-based solutions with tools like OpenAI or Mistral, and you know your way around vector stores, semantic search, and RAG pipelines. With strong Python skills and experience in cloud environments (Azure or AWS), you're comfortable owning a project end-to-end. You’re also great at explaining things simply, influencing others to embrace AI, and adapting quickly to new tools and ideas. Bonus points if you’ve worked with internal platforms like SharePoint, Jira, or Freshservice—or have a knack for quality assurance and privacy-conscious development.

What's in it for me?

At Cintra, we firmly believe that our employees are the cornerstone of our success, and investing in their growth is synonymous with investing in the future of our company.  As part of our commitment to nurturing our team, we are proud to offer:
  • A competitive salary with generous bonus opportunities
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements supporting your work-life balance
  • Employer matched pension contribution to 5%
  • Wellbeing support through our company paid cash plan and employee assistance program which includes spa and gym discounts
