主な責任:

1. アーキテクチャ設計:
   • データ＆アナリティクスのリーダーシップを支援し、参天のデータ戦略に沿ったアーキテクチャのビジョン、目標、KPIを定義し実行します。
   • 分析、データサイエンス、デジタルトランスフォーメーションを支える信頼性が高く、拡張性のあるデータアーキテクチャを設計します。
   • ビジネスおよび技術要件に合ったデータプラットフォーム、ツール、技術を評価、選定、推奨します。
   • クロスファンクショナルなステークホルダーと協力して、ビジネスニーズに沿った効果的なデータソリューションを提供します。
   • プラットフォームやソース間でのシームレスな統合を可能にするデータパイプラインとフレームワークを開発し管理します。
2. アーキテクチャガバナンス:
   • DITリーダーやビジネスパートナーと協力して、アーキテクチャの優先事項と課題を特定します。
   • データ品質、セキュリティ、コンプライアンスのためのデータのあるべき姿、ガバナンスポリシー、ベストプラクティスを確立します。
   • ビジネスユーザーとテクニカルチームの間をつなぎ、データの設計がデータガバナンスに従いつつもビジネスの目的達成に向けたデータ活用に合致するように調整します。
3. 戦略的イニシアチブへの協力:
   • 参天のクロスファンクショナル、クロスリージョナルな報告と分析をカバーする統一データプラットフォームの開発においてD&Aチームを支援し、アーキテクチャ戦略、ガイダンス、ベストプラクティス、実行計画を提供します。
   • グローバルビジネストランスフォーメーションイニシアチブに貢献し、既存のマスターデータシステムとアーキテクチャを評価し、グローバル標準に沿った信頼性が高く、柔軟に拡張できるマスターデータアーキテクチャの設計に協力します。
4. 分野を超えた連携:
   • データシステムに関連するインフラストラクチャのトピックに密接に関わり、タイムリーなパッチ適用、定期的なレビューと評価をサポートしてその信頼性を確保します。
   • データ/アプリケーションチームと協力して、アーキテクチャが一貫性があり、目的に適しており、統合制約に最適化されていることを確認します。
   • 情報セキュリティチームと協力して、データの機密性、プライバシー、セキュリティ、コンプライアンスに関連する要求を理解し、データアーキテクチャがそれらを提供することを確保します。
   • マスターデータ管理システムおよびそれが利用される関連システムに関するアーキテクチャのトピックについてコンサルテーションを提供します。

Role Overview:

As part of Santen’s Mid-Term Plan, we are accelerating our organizational transformation by leveraging data and analytics. To unlock the true value of data, we are enhancing data literacy, strengthening data governance, and consolidating our data infrastructure to create an environment where employees can make quick and accurate decisions. This enables employees to access necessary data anytime, interpret well-visualized information, and make informed decisions swiftly.

To support this vision, we are seeking a Data Architect to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is crucial in designing and executing data and analytics initiatives. You will play a central role in building a modern data ecosystem that enables data integration, consolidation, and governance across diverse functions and regions. As a key member of the Global Digital Innovation's Data & Analytics team, you will report directly to the Head of Data & Analytics and drive dynamic and forward-thinking initiatives.

Your scalable and future-ready data architecture will lay the foundation for company-wide analytics, AI adoption, and intelligent automation. In this position, you will work closely with business units, IT, and external partners to ensure data assets are structured, accessible, and optimized for value creation. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and quality of decision-making across the organization, aligning with our mid-term management priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design:
   • Support D&A leadership in defining and executing the architectural vision, goals, and KPIs aligned with Santen’s data strategy.
   • Design reliable and scalable data architectures that support analytics, data science, and digital transformation efforts.
   • Evaluate, select, and recommend data platforms, tools, and technologies that meet business and technical requirements.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions aligned with business needs.
   • Develop and manage data pipelines and frameworks that enable seamless integration across platforms and sources.
2. Architectural Governance:
   • Collaborate with DIT leaders and business partners to identify architectural priorities and challenges.
   • Establish data standards, governance policies, and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
   • Bridge the gap between business users and technical teams to ensure data design aligns with governance while supporting business objectives.
3. Collaboration on Strategic Initiatives:
   • Support the D&A team in developing a unified data platform for Santen that covers cross-functional and cross-regional reporting and analytics. Provide architectural strategy, guidance, best practices, and execution plans.
   • Contribute to the global business transformation initiative by evaluating existing master data systems and architecture, and collaborating on designing a reliable and flexible master data architecture aligned with global standards.
4. Cross-Domain Engagement:
   • Engage closely with infrastructure topics related to data systems, ensuring reliability through timely patching, periodic reviews, and assessments.
   • Collaborate with data/application teams to ensure architecture consistency, purpose alignment, and optimization for integration constraints.
   • Work with the information security team to understand data sensitivity, privacy, security, and compliance requirements, ensuring data architecture meets these needs.
   • Provide consultation on architectural topics related to master data management systems and associated systems.

• データアーキテクチャ、データエンジニアリング、または関連する役割での実績のある経験（5年以上が望ましい）。
• データモデリング、ETLプロセス、データウェアハウジング、クラウドデータプラットフォーム（Azureが望ましい）に関する強い理解。
• データ統合、ガバナンス、メタデータ管理の経験。
• データ処理に使用されるSQL、Python、または類似のプログラミング言語に精通していること。
• データモデリング、変換、強化、処理における豊富な経験。
• アーキテクチャツール（例: Erwin、ER studio、オープンソースなど）での経験。
• データパイプラインとツール（例: ADF、Event Hub、Databricksなど）でのCI/CDの経験。

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with data integration, governance, and metadata management.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages used in data processing.
• Extensive experience in data modeling, transformation, enrichment, and processing.
• Experience with architecture tools (e.g., Erwin, ER studio, open source, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD in data pipelines and tools like ADF, Event Hub, Databricks, etc.
• Clear understanding of master data management concepts and required architectural insight.
• Conceptual understanding of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data visualization best practices.
