About the role
In person in 5 days/week in San Francisco, CA
We’re looking to add a frontend engineer to our team. Primary responsibilities will be to enhance and develop features for LangSmith, our platform for LLM application observability, testing, and debugging.
Develop new user-facing features using React.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Collaborate with team members, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers, to improve usability.
Write clean, scalable, and documented code.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them into day-to-day work.
In this role, you’re a good fit if you have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
4+ years of experience in front-end engineering
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
A deep understanding of React and its core principles
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWTs
Hands-on experience with front-end development tools like Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Yarn
The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
A passion for product design and building beautiful, intuitive interfaces
Familiarity with git for version control
Have strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.
Annual salary range: $135,000-$185,000 USD
