We are currently looking for 

Senior Data Engineer 

to create a leading digital innovation center in Poland with us.

🚀Areas of the project:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable streaming data pipelines (primarily clickstream), enabling real-time and batch data processing.
• Design and implement data solutions for Self-Service Analytics, supporting business users with accessible, reliable data.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure data quality and integrity across pipelines and analytics solutions.

🚀 What do you need to have to join us:

Must haves:

• Strong proficiency in Python (~60% of work) and Scala (key for streaming pipelines); Java/Kotlin are less relevant but JVM familiarity is a plus.
• Experience in building and maintaining streaming pipelines (e.g., Apache Beam, Dataflow, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform – especially BigQuery, Composer, and Dataflow.
• Expertise in SQL and DBT (essential for Self-Service Analytics).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and cloud data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with Spark or PySpark (not necessarily in a Hadoop environment).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Docker.
• Proficient in Git or similar version control systems.
• Adherence to software development best practices (Clean Code, CI/CD, code reviews).
• Interest in emerging technologies (Generative AI, LLMs, Copilot).
• Teamwork, autonomy, and proactive attitude.
• English at B2 level, Polish at C1 or better.
• You have to be eligible to work in Poland (citizenship, residency, work permit or local self-proprietorhsip)

Nice to haves:

• Apache Beam and Scio (must have for streaming pipelines, but can be learned if not already known).
• Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Spring Framework 
• Pandas, NumPy
• Familiarity with medalion architecture (would be a strong plus)
