Data Scientist- Summer Internship Program 2025

Tagaddod is thrilled to announce our Summer Internship Program for 2025, and we are seeking a passionate and driven Data Scientist Intern to join our team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and gain hands-on experience in data science and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of data from various sources
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights using statistical techniques
• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems
• Create and present data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
• Stay informed about the latest data science methodologies and technologies

Requirements

• Education & Foundational Knowledge: You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome! This also means you should have a basic understanding of data science tasks like data cleaning, feature engineering, and simple machine learning models, along with fundamental software engineering principles such as version control.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python is essential, along with familiarity with data analysis and visualization libraries like pandas and matplotlib.
• Web & Database Fundamentals: You should have a basic understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and be able to use SQL for database querying.
• API Knowledge: Basic knowledge of FastAPI is required, or a strong willingness to learn it quickly.
• Geospatial & Dashboarding Tools: Familiarity with handling geographical data and libraries like folium is important, as is exposure to AI tools like Bolt or similar dashboarding applications.
• Soft Skills & Initiative: Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must. We're looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and execute effectively in a collaborative setting.
• Any familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor.
• Prior experience with small data projects, personal dashboards, or geospatial data applications.
