Data Analytics Engineer

A person who can (1) optimize support operations, (2) optimize MGR+PHG teams, and (3) contribute/absorb to/from the program shared lessons-learned.

Responsibilities: 

• Be contact point for stakeholders on overall project information: time, scope, capacity, scope,… 
• Arrange and host projects Scrum/other meetings
• Follow up project tasks to remove blockers 
• Calculate team capacity and help BA on sprint planning 
• Coordinate with BA on project scope, objectives, deliverables, product demo, can cover some of BA’s works if BA is on leave (e.g. hosting meetings, demonstrating new features, planning new sprint,…)
• Coordinate with Tech Lead on development status 
• Coordinate with QC Lead on quality status on development/integration/production environments 
• Monitor project progress, track key metrics, provide regular status updates to stakeholders and highlight any risks, issues or deviations from the plan 
• Identify and manage project risks and proactively address potential obstacles or delays to minimize project impact 
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment and facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members 
• Ensure project information is documented on Confluence 
• Monitor and audit support channel, maintain Support Playbook
• Produce reports on team operations (monthly, weekly, ad-hoc) 
• Support organizing team events and workshops
• Contribute to the program by sharing ideas, best practices and lessons learned from the project teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, standards and team culture.

Requirements  

• Excellent verbal English skills (around IELTS band 6.5 listening/speaking or higher) 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with diverse people such as designers, engineers, testers and stakeholders 
• Positive attitude, energetic, fast and proactive in communication 
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Capacity to search/develop ideas, approaches, and automated solutions to difficult situations or problems 
• Experience using problem-solving and analytical skills to solve business problems and drive process improvements 
• Quick learner and interested in learning new technologies 
• Ability to use AI (e.g. ChatGPT, M365 Copilot) to assist own work
• At least 2 years of project experience in a technology organization 
• Good knowledge in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum methodologies 
• Certification from PMI is a bonus, especially PMP
• Knowledge in Jira/Confluence is a plus
