The Pricing and Net Revenue Optimization Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing Net Revenue for Ford in Mexico and the NAEM region. This position is responsible for driving data-driven insights by performing advanced analysis of complex datasets related to vehicle pricing, incentives, market dynamics, and sales performance. The analyst identifies key trends, develops analytical models, and translates findings into actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making. A core function involves evaluating and improving existing processes through efficiency initiatives and the application of modern data processing and visualization tools. Additionally, this role holds direct operational responsibility as the dedicated pricer for the Lincoln brand in NAEM and serves as backup for Ford NAEM pricing, ensuring accuracy and timely implementation of pricing strategies. This position contributes to operational excellence and informed strategic planning through rigorous analysis and process enhancement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Advanced Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
    • Perform in-depth analysis of complex datasets related to vehicle pricing, incentives, sales performance, market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer behavior across Mexico and NAEM.
    • Utilize statistical methods and analytical techniques to identify key trends, drivers, correlations, and anomalies impacting Net Revenue.
    • Develop and maintain analytical models to forecast revenue impacts, evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and incentive programs, and support strategic decision-making.
  2. Process Evaluation and Efficiency Improvement:
    • Evaluate current processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and manual efforts.
    • Propose and design data-driven solutions and streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy within the department.
    • Collaborate with team members to understand existing challenges and translate them into requirements for process automation or optimization.
  3. Tooling and Technology Application:
    • Leverage and potentially implement advanced data processing, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms) to enhance analytical capabilities and process automation.
    • Stay current with developments in data analytics tools and methodologies, recommending and implementing new technologies that can add value to the Net Revenue function.
  4. Enhanced Reporting and Decision Support:
    • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate performance drivers, analytical results, and strategic implications.
  5. Opportunity Identification and Innovation:
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing analytical frameworks, reporting, and processes to provide the team and management with better tools and insights for decision-making.
    • Champion the adoption of data-driven approaches and analytical best practices within the department.
    • Contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence within the team.
  6. NAEM Lincoln Pricer:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and responsible pricer for the Lincoln brand within the NAEM region.
  • Develop, propose, and manage pricing strategies and actions specifically for Lincoln vehicles in NAEM.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely implementation of published Lincoln pricing data across relevant systems and communications.
  • Serve as the primary backup for the Ford brand NAEM pricer, providing coverage and support as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field. A degree specifically in Data Science or a strongly related analytical discipline is preferred as well as AI knowledge
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify key trends, draw conclusions, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Data Processing & Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools. Experience with languages/tools such as SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose/design data-driven solutions for optimization.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex analytical findings and recommendations to various stakeholders, including management (presentation skills are key).
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly important for pricing data integrity and compliance.
  • Language: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for communication within NAEM and potentially global teams.
