Edenred Mobility is one of the three business line of the Edenred group. With operations in Latin America & Europe it manages more than 5 billion liters of fuel across the globe and has more than 3M vehicles under management across 45+ countries. It is a leader in Brazil and Mexico and a key market player in Europe.
The Global Mobility Data Team is a key contributor of the Edenred Mobility data transformation journey. It plays a key role on supporting & developing with each regional CDOs, senior Edenred Mob and the group data the BL data ambition and strategy with special focus on business impact while leveraging synergies and shared objectives across geographies. This team is also responsible to lead the development of the mobility data product roadmap, support & track data governance and migration initiatives across the BL and furthermore on fostering the collaboration between data and business teams by supporting group acculturation initiatives within the BL and proposing and steering BL specific ones.
The Mobility Data Product Manager leads the Global Data Product Design & Delivery process, manages the data squad, supports the business line data program, and oversees strategic regional projects as an expert in data product practices.
This role have a direct reporting line to the Mobility Data Product & Strategy Lead (in this documented referred as the BL Data Lead).
YOUR MISSIONS
The Data Product Manager has several key missions that are essential for the effective management of data and AI products.
1. Data Product & Asset Design
Design and functional scope of business line (BL) data products and assets in collaboration with the BL Data Lead, based on the BL strategic roadmap.
Adapt the use case delivery based on the BL data strategy, Edenred's data tech stack, and existing or needed data assets for each region;
Create data product design frameworks and develop features, epics, and roadmaps to guide development teams.
Define the overall use case delivery roadmap with the BL Data Lead.
2. Data Product & Asset Delivery
The Data Product Manager ensures the successful delivery of business line (BL) data products and assets in collaboration with teams including data scientists, analysts, engineers, and designers. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and documenting all agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) using group tools and processes;
Monitoring development costs (engineering hours and cloud computing) and flagging the need for additional resources;
Establishing quality standards for task completion with the BL Data Lead;
Testing and approving deliverables from data engineers and scientists;
Producing documentation in Confluence for delivered use cases.
3. Support for Data Transformation Program
The Mobility Data Product Manager also plays a crucial role in supporting the overall data transformation program for the business line (BL). Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring the business value impact of the global use case deliveries with each global business owner.
Assisting in consolidating the use case roadmap across all regions.
Tracking the implementation of the data governance framework at the regional level.
Preparing materials for key mobility data ceremonies, such as the Monthly Leadership Committee and Quarterly BL Steering meetings;
Supporting the deployment of strategic initiatives and use cases at the regional level.
Support the creation and animation of the Data Community across the BL;
In summary, the Data Product Manager plays a central role in the creation of data and AI, combining strategic vision, interdisciplinary collaboration, and informed decision-making.
YOUR PROFILE
Hard skills:
Product Management Methodologies: Knowledge of methodologies such as Agile and Scrum for effective project management and classic prioritization tools in Product Management, including scoping and run management phases.
Knowledge of data specificities: A fine understanding of the different technologies and roles involved in data projects.
Knowledge of data security standards and Data Governance: Understanding of data security requirements (such as GDPR or the EU AI Act) and laws related to the use of algorithms and profiling.
Data analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL) to extract and manipulate datasets.
Visualization tools: Skills in using data visualization tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau) to present results clearly and engagingly.
Soft skills:
Communication and presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor the message according to the audience and create clear and compelling presentations.
Analysis and synthesis: Ability to analyze complex information, extract key ideas, and synthesize data for informed decision-making.
Leadership and collaboration: Leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while remaining focused on strategic objectives.
Proficiency in English: At Edenred, advanced proficiency in English is an essential skill, enabling smooth and effective communication within teams.
