Job Description

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Manager of Portfolio Oversight to lead a team that sits at the intersection of strategic insight and operational execution. In this dual-role position, you’ll be responsible for two core functions: Portfolio Oversight – You’ll analyze, monitor, and optimize credit and portfolio performance with a focus on debt collections strategy, portfolio risk, and risk strategy. Business Intelligence Leadership – You’ll serve as the leader of our Business Intelligence (BI) team, building a high-impact function aligned around engagement, scalability, and platform sustainability.

The Job...

• Analyze trends in originations, delinquency, and partner performance 

• Develop frameworks to evaluate and improve portfolio strategies across the business lines 

• Build dashboards, reports, and models to support Credit, Sales, and Executive leadership 

• Work cross-functionally to align debt collections, underwriting, and servicing levers with portfolio goals 

• Translate data into compelling narratives to drive decision-making and action 

• Set the vision and roadmap for the BI team 

• Manage and mentor a team of BI developers, ensuring delivery of high-impact analytics and dashboards 

• Champion usage analytics and feedback loops to maximize the value of BI assets 

• Guide adoption of generative BI and automation tools to expand coverage without increasing headcount 

• Oversee lifecycle management of BI assets—ensuring high-quality maintenance and strategic evolution 

• Promote best practices in SQL, Python, Git-based collaboration, and agile delivery

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Finance) 

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or BI, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior analyst role 

• Proven experience with BI tooling and languages: SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), Python, Git 

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and dashboard development 

• Excellent communicator—able to translate complexity into clarity for diverse stakeholders 

• Track record of scaling analytics functions or introducing AI/automation to amplify impact 

• Experience managing people, processes, and strategic roadmaps 

• Passion for operational excellence and outcome-focused analytics 

• Must be able to work onsite in our Salt Lake City office
