AI Governance Analyst

We are looking for a person with specialist business analysis skills to join our AI Governance team. Working closely with Aptiv’s Global Data Privacy and Protection team, you will ensure that AI is developed or deployed in line with applicable laws and regulations, standards and best practice, including providing AI Governance expertise and advice across a diverse range of internal stakeholders.

Your Role

• Support the delivery of Aptiv’s Global AI Governance framework, policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Contribute to continuous AI Governance policy and process improvement, and supporting cross-functional AI process development and change,

• Develop and maintain AI Governance frameworks, tools and templates, to support the governance of AI systems.

• Deliver Aptiv’s AI Governance processes, including: co-ordinating cross-functional Privacy and AI risk management (including alignment with  Security, Intellectual Property, and Data Governance risk); AI end-to-end Approval process coordination; facilitating AI Governance committee business.

• Conduct and supervise Privacy and AI Impact Assessments, and monitoring AI Risk Management records, inventories, and AI lifecycle compliance,

• Carrying out regulatory horizon scanning to identify new and upcoming AI laws, regulations, and standards, and ensuring ongoing policy and process compliance

• Support and deliver AI Governance training and communications

• Ensure effective/efficient AI Governance operations, and monitor/report on AI Governance service delivery per agreed KPIs

• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as requested.

Your Background

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a governance, risk or compliance role, including Privacy or AI Governance.

• AI technical experience and/or program management experience (preferred).

• Experience of working cross-functionally in a global organisation (preferred).

• Educated to a degree level (preferred).

• AI Governance or Privacy certifications such as AIGP, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT etc (preferred).

• Knowledge of OneTrust or other AI Governance/Privacy Management software (added advantage).

• Excellent communications skills (both written and spoken) in English.

• Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
