As an integral part of our Business Intelligence team, the Data Analyst 2 is responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting data to improve decision making around the customer experience and operational performance projects in Nordstrom’s Digital Production Org. This individual should have a high degree of curiosity about the business and the skills to discover impactful insights from data. They should be able to communicate those insights in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value.

A day in the life… 

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define success and develop measurement frameworks. 

  • Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on business performance through hypothesis testing. 

  • Responsible for delivering a suite of analytical products include analyses, dashboards, insights, and recommendations. 

  • Present the results to the stakeholders up to executive level and guide them to make the best use of analytics in their domain. 

  • Find opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve overall performance. 

  • Deliver high quality solutions and recommendations to a variety of problems both independently and through the collaboration with team members and business partners to drive outcomes. 

  • Bring data to life through storytelling in a clear and meaningful way to audiences with mixed levels of technical expertise. 

  • Use advanced analytical and statistical practices to create thorough and actionable insights. 

  • Collect data to analyze, execute and measure the enrichment, photo studio and sales person video teams workflows.  

  • Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative  

 You own this if you have… 

  • 3+ year of professional experience with SQL (MySQL and Teradata SQL preferred) 

  • 3+ year of professional experience building advanced Tableau Dashboards for ongoing measurement and self-service needs 

  • 1+ year of professional experience using R or Python in an analytics capacity 

  • 1+ year of ETL process 

  • Ability to think strategically and assess key stakeholder requests 

  • Experience taking large volumes of data and condensing it into a clean, insightful, and automated format 

  • Demonstrated ability to QA reporting process to ensure data integrity and accuracy 

  • Ability to convey results to non-experts 

  • Desire to gain understanding of business domain, processes, data sources, and key metrics relevant to business unit

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$87,500.00 - $145,500.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
