Job Summary

The Local Media Development (LMD) team’s mission is to deliver impactful content and experiences that masterfully connect all audiences to Comcast and our core values. The Manager, Analytics, Local Media Development delivers thorough, accurate, and timely performance analysis, data-driven insights, and strategic recommendations for the company's campus and public experiences, public programming, and economic impact reporting. This role reports to the Senior Director, Analytics, and collaborates with team members across Comcast NBCUniversal to develop analytics deliverables for key collaborative partners, including senior executive-level stakeholders. Core Responsibilities

  • Measure, analyze, and interpret the platform performance for public programming's linear, online and social reach;
  • Deliver and oversee delivery of accurate analysis and technical dashboards for the company's campus and public venues and experiences;
  • Research, plan, and contribute to the development and delivery of the company's external-facing economic impact reports;
  • Develop insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and business cases to proactively support the Senior Director, Analytics, and the broader Local Media Development team;
  • Review analytics methodologies, researching and updating as required; and
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject matter (Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business related degree is preferred).
  • 5+ years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a senior analyst, lead, or managerial role preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep expertise in working with complex datasets and advanced analytical tools to quickly and accurately extract actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to build compelling data-driven business cases, and expertly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior-level executives.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders in complex and demanding conditions.
  • Demonstrated experience in independently leading analytics projects from ideation to execution.
  • Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS and Azure (ETL tools and other data services).
  • Experience with industry standard visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience with AI/ML techniques and tools, with a demonstrated passion for learning and implementing AI technologies (off-the-shelf solutions, GenAI tools, Agentic AI, etc.) for automation, process innovation, and analytical insights.
  • Experience with social media and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprinklr) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console) a strong plus.
