Job DetailsThe Sales Analytics and Business Intelligence Analyst II leverages advanced data analysis and business insights to empower CRLTC (Community Retail and Long-Term Care) sales teams with tailored go-to-market strategies that drive growth across the business. Collaborating closely with sales leaders and functional partners, the Analyst II plays a key role in designing and developing tools, dashboards, and reports that provide timely, actionable data, enabling sellers to influence customer behavior and improve performance outcomes.
Additionally, the Analyst II develops frameworks to monitor performance against strategic initiatives and defined business goals. With a focus on continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies, this role enhances operational efficiency and ensures alignment with key business objectives.
Responsibilities
Performs data mining exercises with vast data sets to find opportunities to grow sales, margin and market share via sales team campaigns
Utilizing applications such as Databricks, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku and SAP to build and enhance tools, dashboards, and infrastructure to surface the right performance data and insights to the sales teams.
Focuses on streamlining business processes where applicable, to scale agile go-to-market strategies in support of outbound call campaigns
Timely and successful execution of projects that involves various stakeholders
Responsible for providing weekly, monthly and quarterly advanced analysis of transactional level data; synthesizing findings into relevant trends and correlations in support of identifying and reporting changes in customer and product performance.
Actively participates in the development of commercial strategies and tactics for various channels / classes of trade.
Develops and manages tools to facilitate tactical execution and measure effectiveness to defined goals / objectives.
Ownership for quantification and impact analysis of existing or proposed operational policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
Collaborates with Inside Sales, Finance and Sourcing teams in the development and preparation of performance forecasts, projections, and plans; based upon numerous variables and data assumptions.
Models, analyzes and measures the design, execution and ongoing effectiveness of call campaigns and commercial programs; ensuring alignment with defined purchase behaviors and desired outcomes.
Owns and supports initiatives geared toward streamlining current processes, creating new processes and using new technologies and systems.
Assists Inside Sales team regarding ad-hoc data analysis, tracking & reporting, issue resolution, or participation in broader organizational initiatives as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, pricing, marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, strategy, finance or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Requires minimum 3 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least 1 years’ experience in analytics and project/process management.
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to implement and manage projects / processes aimed at driving simplification, standardization, or adherence to policy.
Sound expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis.
Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information.
Experience in the pharmaceutical materials industry; generics pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Very strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good presentation skills.
Experience with Six Sigma methodology is ideal, but not required
Understanding of enterprise CRM systems (reporting, analysis, dashboards)
Familiarity with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL, R, Python, Databricks)
Fluency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Project, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
