Platform Product Manager, Creation PlatformBusiness EnvironmentThe Creation Platform is central to the Amadeus Travel Unit’s growth strategy, powering the next-generation travel ecosystem. It connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travellers with solutions, capabilities, and content to support traveller-centric journeys of the future.
The mission of the Creation Platform is to foster innovation, expand business value, and improve process efficiency by sharing capabilities across Amadeus’ businesses to support openness and ecosystem integration.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong interest in data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), who can guide the platform roadmap, support business lines in adopting the platform, and stay informed about emerging technologies to anticipate future user needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for a portfolio of platform capabilities in areas such as Data Management, AI and ML Enablement, Events, or Data Processing.
As a Platform Product Manager, you will:
• Coordinate requirement gathering, market research, and technology monitoring
• Shape platform strategy and positioning, including value proposition and lifecycle planning
• Support delivery teams with technical and functional solution analysis
• Collaborate on execution planning, including prioritization, resource alignment, and budgeting
• Promote capability adoption through clear documentation, training materials, and strategic engagement
Responsibilities
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Positioning
Coordinate with Engineering teams, CRP Architects, Epic Owners, and internal stakeholders to identify requirements, opportunities, and addressable business and compliance needs
Facilitate the data strategy and encourage adoption by other Business Lines. Communicate capability evolution, gather feedback, adjust the roadmap, and identify and remove adoption barriers
Participate in corporate governance (e.g., Amadeus Data Office, Gen AI Centre of Excellence, AI Act project) to assess platform impact and position it as a compliance and best-practice enabler
Collaborate with Engineering, CRP Architects, domain experts, and external consultants to consolidate a clear vision of competition, partners, and market trends
Recommend strategic directions to management, including investment proposals and feature prioritization, and communicate these directions to stakeholders
• Lifecycle
Manage platform capabilities at various maturity stages
Oversee strategies from early-stage ideation to decommissioning, including adoption forecasting, stage gates, and change management
Define metrics to monitor progress and success
Establish and track cost models and unit cost evolution
• Execution
Be responsible for the long-term roadmap and vision. Collaborate with Epic Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering to refine requirements and maintain a balanced roadmap
Keep the platform backlog updated in collaboration with Epic Owners, reflecting evolving priorities from business and governance bodies
Coordinate and prioritize feature delivery to align with go-to-market activities. Demonstrate a clear understanding of user needs and internal market demands
Required Skills

Desired Qualifications
• Experience managing a software core product or component from discovery to deployment
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts
• Understanding of AI and ML technologies and practices
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business, or equivalent experience
• Experience working with Agile teams
