 The Lead Solutions Architect is an opportunity to join the Enterprise AI team within Humana to build a world class generative AI enterprise capability leveraging cloud platforms, analytics, and agile development methodologies.

We are seeking a talented Lead Solutions Architect with experience building generative AI systems in public cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will also involve meeting with industry experts, reviewing/selecting enterprise technology tools and processes, designing solutions, and getting hands on with the implementation. This is a unique role that will play a pivotal role in creating robust AI systems.

The Lead Solutions Architect ensures the technical design and architecture align with the product vision. This role works closely with product managers to translate system requirements into scalable, reliable solutions, and provides technical guidance to development teams.  This position is concentrated on creating robust generative AI systems in a large cloud ecosystem, so in depth expertise on AI system engineering is required. 

This role exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.  This position uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field 

  • 8+ years of technical experience. 

  • Extensive experience in engineering AI systems 

  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate complex technical and business requirements in meetings with stakeholders, vendors and industry standards bodies. 

  • Working experience in Healthcare analytics. 

  • Strong experience delivering solutions in a public cloud, preferably GCP 

  • Prior project architect and/or technical team lead experience. 

  • Experience in designing and building distributed system architectures.  

  • Experience building and deploying AI systems 

  • Experience interpreting and communicating analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and executive decision makers 

  • Experience driving resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area 

  • Clear oral and written communication skills 

  • Flexible, dynamic personality who is able to work independently 

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and validate assumptions through rapid proofs of concept.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience of health plan operations and technology

  • Experience building generative AI systems at scale

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$142,300 - $195,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
