Prologis is seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst to join our Global Impact & Sustainability Team and help strengthen our position as a leader in sustainable logistics real estate. As a core contributor to our sustainability strategy—a competitive advantage that enhances customer value and business performance—you will support enterprise-wide initiatives through robust data management, analytics, and reporting. Since achieving carbon neutrality in operations in 2019, Prologis has scaled impact through decarbonization strategies, onsite solar, EV infrastructure, and innovative social impact programs. With a global portfolio of 1 billion square feet, we aim to lead by example in meeting our net zero goal by 2040.

In this role, you’ll collect and manage sustainability data across our real estate portfolio, support benchmarking and regulatory reporting (e.g., GRESB, ENERGY STAR, CSRD), and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive data quality and sustainability performance. We're seeking a team-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. This is a unique opportunity to shape and advance one of the industry’s premier sustainability programs and contribute to a more sustainable built environment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Management: Collect, cleanse, and manage sustainability data (energy, water, waste, emissions) across the real estate portfolio globally to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Benchmarking and Reporting: Utilize platforms like ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and GRESB to benchmark building performance and prepare ESG reports for stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure data and reporting comply with relevant sustainability standards and frameworks, including GHG Protocol and local regulations such as SFDR and CSRD in Europe.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, consultants, and internal teams to gather data, implement sustainability initiatives, and improve performance metrics.
  • Analysis and Insights: Develop analytical tools and dashboards to monitor sustainability performance, identify trends, and support decision-making processes including related to decarbonization asset level plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes and reporting efficiency, contributing to continuous improvement in sustainability practices.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sustainability data analysis preferably within the real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (including pivot tables), Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting platforms and frameworks like ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, GRESB, and the GHG Protocol.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data governance and quality assurance processes.
  • Knowledge of ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Workiva is a plus.
  • Certification in sustainability or environmental management (e.g., LEED) is a plus.

Hiring Salary Range of: $74,000 - $114,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
