Manager, Accommodations Stakeholder Relations – VIP, Protocol, & Data Operations
The Manager, Accommodations Stakeholder Relations – VIP, Protocol & Data Operations will be a key player in the success of LA28’s accommodations program, serving as the right-hand partner to the Senior Manager and primary liaison for Olympic Family (OFH), Paralympic Family (PFH), and other high-priority stakeholders.
Reporting to the Senior. Manager, ACM Stakeholder Relations, Tthis person will bring a blend of VIP client service, protocol experience, and operational excellence, ensuring that LA28 delivers high-quality accommodations experiences for senior international stakeholders, while also managing essential data and systems as the Games planning scales up. This includes maintaining detailed tracking tools, supporting the Accommodation Management System (AMS), and driving data accuracy across all areas of stakeholder logistics.
As planning intensifies, this person will transition into more external-facing leadership, while continuing to support back-end operational needs with a tech-savvy, detail-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Act as the primary accommodations contact for Olympic Family, Paralympic Family, and other key stakeholders (e.g., IOC, IPC delegates)
- Deliver white-glove, culturally sensitive service and uphold protocol standards during communications, site visits, and event operations
- Coordinate site visits and pre-Games engagements with hotels and VIP guests
- Build strong relationships with international stakeholders, adapting to cultural nuances and ensuring alignment with Games-time needs
Strategic and Operational Support
- Serve as the right-hand support to the Senior Manager, helping execute vision and priorities across multiple stakeholder groups and hotels
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, meeting logistics, and cross-functional follow-ups
- Support in the development of playbooks, guides, allocation strategies, and service standards for high-touch stakeholder groups
Data & Systems Management
- While the stakeholder-facing elements scale up, take lead on maintaining and updating key tracking documents, hotel data, allocation lists, and status reports
- Manage and input data into the Accommodation Management System (AMS) to ensure timely, accurate, and complete records
- Own Excel-based tracking and analysis tools, ensuring hotel information, stakeholder contacts, rooming lists, and invoicing data are clean, consistent, and report-ready
- Collaborate with the tech and product teams to improve system usability and support user training across internal and external partners
Hotel Partner Coordination
- Maintain excellent relationships with hotel partners, particularly those assigned to VIP stakeholders
- Liaise regularly with hotels to align on protocol requirements, service levels, and deliverables
- Ensure that hotels have accurate information and are prepared for site visits and Games-time operations
Background & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years managing client relationships
- Experience working with multitude of clients simultaneously
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships
- Coordination of large events a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making
Position Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
Expectations:
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues
- Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Los Angeles market is a plus
- A collaborative mindset; someone who prioritizes the team and fosters a culture of high performance without ego
- Demonstrated capability to effectively implement and manage change in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Required to work on-site at LA28 offices in Los Angeles at least four days per week
- Must be able to travel as needed, including for site visits to hotels, universities, and other accommodations partners
- Must have the ability to walk and stand for extended periods during site visits, hotel inspections, and on-site operations across various accommodations locations

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
