What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Demand Generation, Data Engineer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Start Date: September 2025
Contract Duration: 8 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
You are part of a team of Data Engineers that develop Data Products for internal Demand Generation Analytics. SAP Marketing is currently moving to a new GTM and with that a new technology stack. Also, SAP is introducing a second CRM system to run in parallel to the existing infrastructure, which means a lot of transformation and integration needs in the analytics area.
You will be using SAP’s latest technologies like DataSphere and Business Data Cloud. You will be operating in the Cloud, in Data Lakes and get exposed to Databricks and Collibra.
You will help directly shaping SAP’s future by introducing a new Cloud CRM system and a new optimized Marketing strategy. If being just a small cog in the big wheel isn’t enough for you, this is the job where you can truly make an impact.
What you bring
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
Education: Master’s degree student in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technologies or related fields
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
- Good knowledge of SQL, data modelling, Analytics and Python are critical
- Databricks experience, working in a scrum environment and understanding the Marketing process is a plus
Meet your team
You will be working as one of four data engineers in the Marketing Analytics stable team on leads, campaigns and opportunities. You support SAP Marketing to have full insight into all their data and to make data driven decisions.
Your colleagues are experienced in this field and will guide you, so you become self-sufficient quickly.
You will collaborate with colleagues globally from India over Germany to the US.
In the Vancouver office you will find a vibrant and very active community of interns.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 24-35 CAD. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
