Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to join our team. This role will play a critical function in designing the business and technical solutions that will improve the accuracy and consistency of master data throughout the enterprise, beginning with our party domain (organization and person). The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our master data evolves to enable key operational and analytical use cases.

What You'll Do

  • Develop an MDM framework that enhances existing systems and business processes to improve master data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across the organization.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify master data needs, document requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Profile source data to identify inconsistencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement in master data sets.
  • Design and enhance business processes to support MDM objectives, ensuring seamless integration with current tools and workflows.
  • Contribute to the scoping, evaluation, and selection of a dedicated MDM platform.
  • Define user stories for the MDM platform that align with the MDM framework.
  • Work closely with IT, business units, and leadership to align MDM initiatives with organizational goals and facilitate adoption.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of MDM efforts and report on data quality improvements.
  • Support training and communication efforts to ensure stakeholders understand and adopt MDM processes and standards.

 

Leadership Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

What We're Looking For 

  • 5+ years of experience in MDM, data governance, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to profile, cleanse, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools, and ERPs or other primary sources of enterprise data.
  • Proficiency in business process mapping and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Physical Requirements

  •  Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  •  Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls;
