ISG has created an ISG Data Group (IDG) to provide single point of accountability for the full spectrum of data related commercial initiatives. This ranges from the defensive risk reduction aspects of data security (both internal and external), through operational efficiency from improving data quality, to helping enhance revenue through further leveraging our data assets for providing services to our clients.

Leading the Data Integrity Team whose main responsibilities are as under :-

• Co-ordinating with sales / business divisions, IT teams and Operations to realign firm systems / reports following corporate actions.
• Managing workflow tools, data integrity reports, CRM requests, user queries, etc
• Managing and handling ad hoc projects as per business unit requirement
• Demonstrating efficiency and innovation while proposing solutions and in implementing controls to reduce data issues and improve data quality by engaging with technology, stakeholders and other global partners.
• Validating and setting up clients in Firm’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Maintaining Org / Desk structure & employee client coverage
• Responsible for working with Stakeholders and Team to define and establish strategy and approach for data clean up, maintenance and quality control
• Responsible for identifying and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards

Leading the Client Data Platform team to help manage quantitative data products through a global application platform.  The candidate will oversee a team of L1 and L2 support who will :-

•  Assist in client onboarding/entitlement and level 1 support.

•  Analyze data, develop transformation scripts, remediate quality issues, and work collaboratively with SMEs to implement and test new data products

•  Provide Equity Research product support for clients and internal users of data products, help answer client related data feed questions.

• Coordinate with technology teams to design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems

•  Client Onboarding, client entitlement and product support for clients and internal users of data products

•  Coordinate with technology teams to design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems

• Help create and evolve data standards and product documentation

• Identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and implementing corresponding solutions within the team as well as teams external to ISG Risk

• Establishing relationships and work closely with ISG supervisors, ISG Risk, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.

Qualifications - External

Skills required (essential)

·  Management Graduate or MBA

·  12-14 years with a background in Risk Management, Information Security, or Technology Support focusing on sales and trading issues

·  Effective leadership skills

·  Past knowledge in Client Reference Data will be an added advantage

·  Strong motivation, be a self-starter with a positive outlook and desire to solve problems – creative thinking and problem-solving skills

·  Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows

·  Strong communication skills with an ability to speak to Senior Management

·  Ability to identify and escalate issues effectively and appropriately

·  Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail

·  Solid understanding of applicable regulatory reporting

·   Strong project management skills and proven ability to move projects through to completion

·   Ability to discuss in-depth technology initiatives and ability to work closely with technology teams

·  Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail

·  An understanding of and strong focus on the mechanics of a control environment, including escalation and risk-related issues

·  Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and effective manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Proven ability to take ideas forward and to challenge others with integrity and maturity

· Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
