Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Strategy an Analytics team with the execution of detailed analysis and creation of reports, dashboards and visualizations that provide the business with critical information to make informed decisions. The individual will use various tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights, working with data from various sources,ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with various groups and stakeholders across the business to understand information requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize business intelligence and reporting software, database tools, Microsoft Excel, and Office automation to design, build, assess, maintain, improve, and distribute dashboards and reports, combine data, and present accurate information.
  • Navigate CRM and other systems to build reporting, ensure consistency and compliance across the departments.
  • Develop management monthly KPI’s/reports and BI dashboards for stakeholders across all business functions: technology, operations, field, billing etc.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to identify key business risks and opportunities and make recommendations to improve overall profitability.
  • Distill complex data and relationships into clear, concise charts and visualizations, support ad hoc data requests and analysis.
  • Design data models to extract data from operational databases and transform the data to easily understood business views.
  • Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling API’s, write SQL queries, etc.)
  • Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis- then do the analysis.
  • Automate manual processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Comp Sci/ MIS/ Data Analytics/ Math or Statistics (or any analytical/data driven disciplin
  • 0-2 years of experience working within business intelligence (Co-op/Internships included)
  • Strong SQL experience is a must with knowledge of relational databases, and ability to build and maintain views
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Data driven analytical skills, knowledge and/or experience related to financial analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands and deadlines, are essential
  • Excellent skills in Excel, MS Suite, JIRA, R/Python, SQL, C#
  • Experienced with BI Tools such as Power BI / Tableau / SAP (Power BI Preferred)
  • Creativity, relationship building skills and dedication are all highly desirable
