Cloud Database Engineer MariaDB - STACKIT (m/f/d)

As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved.

Your tasks

• You will develop our database service STACKIT MariaDB Flex together with your teammates
• You will operate and further develop this environment, adding new components to enhance the user experience
• You will support the development of further database services on our cloud platform
• You will manage and operate various technical systems for providing the cloud environment
• Together with other teams, you will be responsible for the system landscape (container orchestration, operators, monitoring & alerting, logging)

Your profile

• You are a cloud enthusiast or want to become one
• Technical challenges motivate you
• You have solid experience working with the MariaDB database
• You already have experience with MariaDB clustering solutions and Kubernetes
• You bring passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes
• You enjoy being part of an international team and can communicate well in German and English
