Responsibilities
Participate in cutting-edge research and development of novel technologies and applications in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
Independently research, design and plan algorithm development in one or more areas of computer vision, including but not limited to: Generative models, including GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks); Image and video synthesis/manipulation; Unsupervised and weakly-supervised image/video representation learning; Object detection, recognition, segmentation, and tracking; Action recognition, event detection, and video summarization; Human modeling (2D and 3D pose estimation, hand pose estimation, and human shape estimation); Facial analysis; Image and video retrieval; Image and video enhancement; and Image and video restoration.
Investigate, prototype, and implement solutions to transfer advanced technologies to company's products.
Optimize and accelerate computer vision algorithms.
Work collaboratively in multi-functional teams.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Collecting and analyzing large-scale datasets, including image, video, audio, and text to design machine learning models from the dataset using Python, Go, SQL, or PyTorch;
Designing and implementing machine learning models and machine learning algorithms and deploy them in real production environments, including mobile devices and web servers, using Python, C/C++, PyTorch, TensorRT, or ONNX; and
Analyzing deep neural networks’ prediction uncertainty (prediction variation), and developing efficient prediction uncertainty estimation algorithm for the deep neural networks using Python or TensorFlow.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $159182 - $250000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).​
