We are hiring a Manger, Hard Discount Loyalty reporting to the Director, Loyalty. The Manager will provide objective, effective analysis and recommendations for loyalty initiatives for the PC Optimum program. Utilizing data and analytics, the Manager will find opportunities, develop solutions, and build plans to integrate loyalty within business plans and strategies. This role will involve various aspects of loyalty and analytics including analytics reporting, loyalty offer development, and customer segmentation expansion. On a regular basis, the manager will work with various cross-functional teams in the business (Category Teams, Loyalty Operations, Promo & Allocation Teams, Marketing, Enterprise teams etc.) to build strong relationships and ensure timely program execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the execution of loyalty campaigns at Loblaws by designing, planning, and coordinating promotions loyalty offers for the Hard Discount division.
  • Help provide thought leadership on loyalty offer strategy. Optimize loyalty investment to increase incremental sales and profit.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly reporting on loyalty campaign performance, including measuring incrementality and return on sales, and conducting investigative analysis for all loyalty promotions to provide insights and findings.
  • Work closely with the Director to support and review the loyalty P&L, providing forecasting, regular reports and insights on variances vs forecast and plan.
  • Leverage customer data to deliver relevant insights to drive business strategy.
  • Synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer & syndicated research, market share, and campaign results. Extrapolate and interpret appropriate information to deliver recommendations.

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years related work experience within Analytics, Category, Merchandising, or related Business role
  • Experience ideally in Retail or the CPG industry with a background in Business, Consumer Finance, Computer Science or Data Science would be an asset.
  • A strong analytical knowledge and problem solving approach.
  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to story-tell effectively using data.
  • Comfortable working in a professional environment interacting with all levels within the organization and collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated strong business sense and passion for the loyalty member experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Teradata, R, PowerBi, or Tableau is an asset
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and lead multiple initiatives within timelines.
