What you will do

The Generative AI Platform Manager is responsible for enabling the architecture and backend components for Generative AI technology to accelerate Kenvue’s digital ambitions to augment work across the organization.  This includes overseeing and managing the Gen AI platform, enhancing stability and resilience, governance standards, ways of working, and platform best practices.

 

The Generative AI Platform Manager will liaise with multiple teams to provide the technology architecture needed to deliver and sustain Gen AI solutions – Product Teams, Infrastructure Teams, Data Science Teams, and Information Security & Risk Management Teams.

 

Strong communication skills, hands-on experience deploying & managing Gen AI technologies, working knowledge of IT security standards and agile methodologies are a must.

 

You will troubleshoot high level applications, oversee installation and testing of hardware and software, and provide advanced technical support for information management applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead the implementation of the Generative AI platform in alignment with the Job Title

·        Design and execute innovative strategies to enhance the performance of the Generative AI platform. 

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the Generative AI platform

·        Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and incorporate them into the platform

·        Develop Platform strategy & roadmap based on aligned prioritizations

·        Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure successful delivery of Generative AI projects

·        Analyze and aid in the design of complex applications to meet Product Team and end-user needs

·        Enables Gen AI integration with adjacent capabilities such as: RPA, MSFT Power, Process Intelligence Capabilities, Cognitive AI

·        Provide advanced technical support for applications including data networking, database design, hardware and software configuration, software development, systems design, training, and security

·        Research, recommend and implement tech stack enhancements, and required modifications to keep current and meet the Product Team needs

·        Conduct feasibility assessments of features and components, new vendor offerings, and SaaS solutions.

·        Responsible for providing standards & ensuring compliance across the Product Teams in solution delivery: Change Management Processes, Design & Coding Standards, Traceability Matrix

·        Manage & Optimize Request and Incident ticket management

·        Ongoing learning of relevant market technologies and seek opportunities to integrate with business needs ie. Conferences, Knowledge groups, communities of practice

·        Facilitates Platform audits and security reviews, ensuring best practices are enforced

·        Oversight on Security & Identity Access Mgmt.

·        Leverage networks across Kenvue regions to adopt and/or influence enterprise processes and capabilities

·        Present to various levels of management both in IT and business partner functions

·        Preparing and facilitating training sessions and/or demos of new capabilities and technologies

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

·        7-10 years of related experience supporting platform deployments with exposure to Gen AI and/or managing ongoing platform operations or adjacent technologies

·        University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science or related field

·        Strong understanding of LLMs (OpenAI, or similar) machine learning algorithms and data structures

·        Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

·        Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

·        Experience working in both co-located and virtual teams, as well as in IT Dev/Ops environments

·        Demonstrated ability to lead technically: Managing priorities, balancing resources between operational support and enhancements, and ongoing prioritization of evolving business needs

·        Working experience managing complex infrastructures consisting of end-user environments, run-time environments and servers across a variety of technologies ie. Azure, AWS

Qualifications

 

Desired Qualifications

·        Experience with the following technologies considered an asset: SQL, Oracle and MSSQL databases, Azure OpenAI, Python, building CI/CD pipelines

·        Experience in data networking, database design, hardware and software configuration, software development, systems design, training, and security
