Position: Data Consultant
- Location: Montreal or Toronto (Hybrid, 2 onsite, 3 remote).
- Experience Level: 3 - 6Â years.
Keyrus Canada is seeking a Data Consultant who can bridge technical depth with business context. This is not a role to just build pipelines or dashboards â this role is for those who see data as a product, insights as a service, and clients as strategic partners.
What Youâll Do
- Collaborate with our clients to understand their business goals, industry drivers, and ways their data can drive their growth strategies.
- Build, maintain, and optimize backend data solutions, including data preparation, cleansing, and ETL processes.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of modern, AI-infused solutions that enable smarter decision-making leveraging state-of-the-art data architectures and tools â without being bound to a single technology stack.
- Contribute to the development of new technology offerings, accelerators, and solutions to support and elevate your team and the client experience.
- Develop and implement solutions using some of the following AI Platform and technologies: Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, AWS, Azure.
- Use modern reporting tools to effectively communicate insights and value, such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
- Operate independently in agile, client-facing scenarios, taking ownership of client communications, deliverables, and managing project timelines to ensure the highest quality delivery standards.
What Weâre Looking For
Our ideal candidate brings a balance of technical skills, curiosity, and a consultative mindset:
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in consulting, analytics, or engineering roles with increasing and demonstrated client-facing responsibility.
- A proven ability to bridge the gap between technical expertise and business understanding.
- Strong business acumen; able to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native data and AI platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS), modern transformation tools 5Talend, DBT, Data Factory, or Glue) and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
- Expert Python and SQL scripting ability.
- A Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field, or from a relevant analytics background, is required.
