Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Business Analyst to join our Global Emerging Technologies team. This role will play a critical part in the ideation, design, and implementation of AI-enabled and development-centric platforms that modernize how our teams and clients engage with real estate services.

 

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and product-thinking skills with foundational knowledge of AI and emerging technologies. You will help translate business challenges into technology opportunities by partnering closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and technical development teams.

 

For AI platform-related initiatives, the candidate will report directly into the teams AI Platforms Manager, collaborating closely on aligned project streams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in AI and emerging technology solutioning with professional services teams and enterprise clients.
  • Assist in the design and validation of AI-driven tools, including chatbot interfaces, NLP use cases, and data intelligence platforms.
  • Define platform scope, document workflows, and oversee the drafting of business and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams during the software development lifecycle to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and external/internal technology vendors.
  • Support vendor selection, onboarding, and performance tracking.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, aligning priorities and expectations across functions.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in QA efforts to ensure solution quality.
  • Conduct market research on emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, product demos, and executive-level reports.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to AI concepts like LLMs, RAG pipelines, NLP, or machine learning frameworks.
  • Understanding of real estate, facilities management, or professional services ecosystems.
  • Consultancy / Business Analyst type experience with: solution design workshops, wireframing, customer journey mapping, requirements management exercices.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Required Qualifications (and related experience preferences) 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within enterprise technology or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with or around AI, automation, or emerging tech platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies).
  • Prior experience in vendor management and external partner coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor information for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and Figma.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $76,500.00 - $90,000.00
