What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Analyst you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills and expertise in data management and transform complex data into clear insights that drive business strategy and operational efficiency. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data availability, quality, and insight generation, ultimately supporting the company’s objectives and fostering a culture of data-driven excellence. This position is based in onsite in Glendale, WI. Candidates must be commuting distance to the office or able/willing to relocate.
How you will do it
Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of data from various databases and sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for analysis.
Utilize statistical techniques and analytical tools to explore data patterns and generate actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and predictive behaviors relevant to business operations.
Partner with business units to understand their analytical needs, providing tailored data analysis and support that aligns with their strategic goals.
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data collection processes, improve data quality, and implement best practices in data management and analytics.
Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across the organization.
What you will need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related domain, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes.
Poficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation
Preferred
Experience in statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling
Snowflake platform experience
Python or R for data analysis
