Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Work with talent acquisition, talent management and learning teams to improve the effectiveness and impact of their programs through the development of data-drive solutions.
  • Develop talent-facing AI applications to enhance the value and experiences of HR programs.
  • Build predictive models to identify talent trends and learning needs.
  • Engineer systems to support the work of other data analysts and data scientists on the team.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align data insights with business objectives.
  • Design and implement machine learning models to identify talent and help them reach their potential.
  • Create engaging AI experiences in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover the effectiveness or impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into HR processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and ethical use in all analyses.

What you'll bring...

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience doing data science or advanced analytics for an organization.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and handling large, complex datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience working with talent management teams.
  • Expertise building applications using multi-agent frameworks (ADK, langchain).
  • Strong communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field. Option 2- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field. Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
