Business Analyst – Finance Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

Our Finance Transformation Office partners directly with the CFO to create scalable, intelligent, and automated processes and solutions. We’re looking for a Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience who thrives at the intersection of finance, data, and technology. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping self-service analytics, building automated reporting pipelines, and enabling smarter decisions across the organization.

About the role 

• Partner with Finance Organization and cross-functional teams to define and deliver impactful data- and process-related solutions.
• Collect, understand, analyze pain points and business requirements from various finance teams and translate them into technical specifications and analytics designs; creating pilots / MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and drive their implementation.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and ad hoc reports using tools such as Power BI, SNOWFLAKE, or Python.
• Write performant SQL queries to source and transform data from Snowflake and underlying data sources (like Amazon S3).
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives (SNOWFLAKE integration, data pipelines, data modeling, self-service reporting)
• Champion data literacy across the finance function and contribute to our analytics framework.

About you 

• Minimum of 3–5 years of work experience in data analytics or a similar data-related field (experience in a Finance organization is a must)
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake is a big plus)
• Comfort and passion working with large amount of data pipelines and real-time data sources (Kafka a strong plus)
• Proven experience with BI/reporting tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
• Understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals in a plus (FP&A, controlling, P&L structure)
• Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination skills
• Experience with RPA or AI tools is a plus (e.g. UiPath, Python, ChatGPT API)
